I have always loved taking care of children since I was a little girl. I decided when I was in 8th grade I wanted to be a pediatrician so I could always care for children.

I am married to Thomas Mogen, M.D., who is a Family Practitioner in Christiansburg. We are very proud of our five sons who are now in their 20s.

In my spare time, I like to read and hike. I also enjoy gardening and baking treats. Most of all, I love spending time with my family.

It may come as a surprise that I grew up on a farm and loved to ride horses. I even used to show my pony “Fancy” in local horse shows.
