When entering medical school, I originally planned to be an adult cardiologist. However, during my rotations in different medical specialties I discovered I loved pediatrics instead. Working with infants and young children who cannot describe their symptoms present special and unique challenges. As a pediatrician, you can help guide a child into a young adult with a healthy lifestyle. After all, pediatricians are just overgrown kids.

I have been married for 35 years and have two grown children.

When I am not working with families at NRV Peds, I enjoy gardening and photography.
