I decided to become a pediatrician because I enjoy being around children with their endless energy and fresh take on life.  I love the unique opportunity in pediatrics to watch your patients grow up and provide preventative care that can have a lifelong impact. 

I grew up in Floyd County as the second of four kids on our family farm. 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family as well as being outside.  I like to to kayak and hike with my German Shepherd, Isa.
