I decided to become a pediatrician while in medical school, during my pediatrics rotation, I felt an immediate connection with patients and the pediatric health care providers.

I live in the New River Valley with my wife. We have three grown children who are living in Virginia, Colorado, and Maryland.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, specifically, antique roses and tropical flowers. I am also very interested in Genealogy.

Three things about me that may surprise people is, I have lived and traveled all over the United States and Internationally. I was fortunate to study at Oxford University. I participated in multiple archaeological digs.
